These days, you MUST know how to capture peoples' attention on:
- Blog post titles
- Twitter posts (tweets)
- Sales/landing pages
- News stories
Otherwise, your content gets lost in the noise, along with everyone else's - NOT what you want, at all!
THE best way to capture peoples' attention in each of these cases is with a powerful headline.
The teaching of this single skill has been the basis of numerous products, books, courses and more. I know, because I've seen or read most of them. :)
I quickly discovered that there are a ton of tips and strategies for mastering this skill, but they did me no good, scattered all over - in different sources (books, reports, emails, DVD's).
Not only that, but I'm a visual guy, and I need some imagery for ideas to really make an impact on me.
So, as I sometimes do, I collected all the best ideas I came across and created a visual tool to help me - something I call a Clarity Map.
Today, I'd like to give you the one I created for writing headlines. Here's what it looks like:
Here's how to use it:
- Download it now (of course)
- Print it
- Laminate it
- Put it somewhere handy, and use it as a reference tool
It's a gift from me to you.
AND, if you like this one, I've got some more to show you next week, so come back, I'd love to see you again! :)
