Your motivation for accomplishing just about anything of significance in life comes down to one important quality - your beliefs.
- Your belief that you can do it
- Your belief that it's worth pursuing
- Your believe that the end-result will live up to your expectations
If you have these 3 important elements, the chances of you actually taking action on a goal, and reaching it, are much higher.
But sometimes, unknowingly, you set yourself up for failure.
Here's what I mean...
Let's say you've just discovered a simple system for how to make money from home doing something you enjoy doing.
You get so excited thinking about how much fun it will be, waking up each morning, doing what you love, and having a lot more freedom - it just sounds so great, and you're determined to make it happen!
But then, the belief-killers start showing up, and most of the time, you don't even realize that they have, so you allow them in.
They subtly suck the life out of your previously fantastic dream to the point where what was once the perfect opportunity suddenly becomes a lot less unrealistic, unappealing, and just another blip on your 'distraction radar'.
So, in essence, you're back to square-one.
So, what are these belief-killers, so you can recognize them and eliminate them for good?
They are all the other 'opportunities' that start showing up in your life (usually in your inbox) that you choose to give your attention to.
You see, when you spend one day learning a system, and getting all dreamy about how it's going to improve your life like never before, and then you spend the next day looking at a bunch of new opportunities that promise the same thing, what are you essentially telling yourself about the first thing?
You're telling yourself that don't really believe in it, for whatever reason. Because if you really did believe in it, you'd quit wasting your time looking at a bunch of other stuff that promise the same results, and instead you'd get to work.
If you live with this mentality, it's is going to keep you in a place where you're spinning your wheels day-in and day-out - going nowhere.
Changing it isn't always easy, but it is simple. You need to get into the habit of making a decision and committing yourself to seeing it through completely, and cutting off anything that's a distraction from making it happen.
You need to get familiar with what this feels like!
Even though you may experience a flop or two on occasion (it happens) the effect of seeing something through to the end does something so positive to your mindset and your belief system, that it creates a momentum in your life to the point where you become an almost unstoppable force once you set your mind to doing something.
So be careful of the belief-killers you allow into your life and business.
Make decisions, see them through to the end, eliminate any distractions, and you'll be amazed at the results you get!
